Retreat Rules & Guidelines

All applications, both for youth and servants, must be signed by the Reverend Father of the Church or the Head of the Sunday School Service.
The retreat fee is $200.00 per person, covering two nights of accommodation and five meals.
Each church must assign a Responsible Servant to manage all applications and payments for their youth and servant participants.
Payments should be combined into one church check and mailed to the Saint George Coptic Orthodox Church (1105 67 Street, Brooklyn, NY 11219), with the envelope marked “Attention: Junior Youth Spiritual Retreat Coordinator”.
Individual registration forms sent separately will not be accepted for this year’s retreat.
All registrations must be received by the deadline of August 20th, 2023. Due to limited space, applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Participant names can be switched until August 26th, 2023, but only within the same gender (male for male, female for female). After this date, no switches will be permitted in accordance with the retreat site policy.
The Assigned Responsible Servant is accountable for ensuring all Registration Forms are complete and legible. Incomplete or illegible forms will not be accepted.
Each group must have a minimum of one female servant for every 1-5 female youth, and one male servant for every 1-5 male youth.
If a group’s applications do not include the appropriate number and specific names of servants, the entire group’s registration will be denied.
